A700 Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors KEMET A700 Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors (AO-CAP) offer 5mΩ to 70mΩ ESR, 2V to 35V DC voltage rating, and 6.8µF to 560µF capacitance range. These solid-state aluminum capacitors feature a small package size and polymer cathode technology. The cathode is a conductive organic polymer that results in very low ESR and improved capacitance retention at high frequencies. AO-CAPs may be operated at steady-state voltages up to 100% of rated voltage without the need to de-rate. Other features include operational lifetimes, low ESR, and high operational temperatures. The inherent low ESR makes the A700 series suitable for high ripple current handling.
