Digilent PYNQ-Z1 Accessory Kit evaluates Zynq-7000 Advanced RISC Machines/Field Programmable Gate Arrays System-on-Chip (SoC) devices. The PYNQ-Z1 board is designed to be used with PYNQ, an open-source framework. This enables embedded programmers to exploit the capabilities of Xilinx Zynq All Programmable SoCs (APSoCs) without having to design programmable logic circuits. The APSoC is programmed using Python with code developed and tested directly on the Digilent PYNQ-Z1 Accessory Kit. Programmable logic circuits can be imported as hardware libraries and programmed through their application programming interfaces, similar to how the software libraries are imported and programmed.
