The 142-1701-851 SMA Self-Fixture End Launch Jack Assembly with tab contact from Johnson-Cinch Connectivity Solutions attaches directly to a coplanar waveguide circuit board and operates up to 18 GHz with good return loss values. This enhanced end launch connector properly align and hold the center contact of a coaxial connector to the circuit board plane without the need for special fixtures. This is done with specially designed connector legs that tightly grip the board substrate until the soldering operation to couple the two is complete.
