The ADUM161N0BRZ is a 3KV RMS, 6-channel digital isolator in 16 pin NSOIC package. This 6-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices iCoupler technology. Combining high speed, CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. The maxi-mum propagation delay is 13ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 4.5ns at 5V operation. Channel to channel matching of propagation delay is tight at 4ns maximum. The data channels are independent and are available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 3KVrms. The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 1.7V to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. DC correctness is ensured in absence of input logic transitions.
