VIPER28 Peak Power High Voltage ConvertersSTMicroelectronics VIPER28 Peak Power High Voltage Converters feature an 800V rugged power section, a PWM control, and two levels of over-current protection. These voltage converters also offer over-voltage protection, overload protection, and hysteric thermal protection. The VIPER28 peak power high voltage converters feature advance frequency jittering for reduced EMI filter cost. An extra power timer allows the management of output peak power for a designed time window. The high voltage start-up circuit is embedded in the device. Typical applications include auxiliary power supply for consumer and home equipment, power supply for energy meters and data concentrators, and AC-DC adapters.
