Development kit for Bluetooth +802.15.4 + NFC module with integrated antenna. BL653 series module is designed to simplify OEMs enablement of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) v5.1 and Thread (802.15.4) to small, portable, power-conscious devices. The BL653 provides engineers with considerable design flexibility in both hardware and software programming capabilities. Based on the world-leading Nordic Semiconductor nRF52833 chipset, the BL653 modules provide ultra-low power consumption with outstanding wireless range via +8 dBm of transmit power and the long range (CODED PHY) Bluetooth 5 feature. The BL653 is programmable via Laird Connectivity's smartBASIC language, AT command set, Zephyr RTOS or Nordic's software development kit (SDK). Typical applications include medical devices, IoT Sensors, fitness sensors, location awareness and home automation.
