UMFT4222PROG/-IC Programmer Modules
FTDI Chip UMFT4222PROG/UMFT4222PROG-IC FT4222H Programmer Modules enable designers to program the one-time-programmable (OTP) memory on a UMFT4222EV or devices with a FT4222H. FT4222H's internal OTP memory stores USB Vendor ID (VID), Product ID (PID), device serial number, product description string and various other USB configuration descriptors. Using this embedded OTP memory, the device can store vendor-specific information and save the cost on BOM. UMFT4222PROG's 4-pin connector connects directly to the FTDI UMFT4222EV. The UMFT4222PROG allows the designer to program the UMFT4222EV OTP memory from a USB host controller. The UMFT4222PROG-IC from FTDI Chip features the FTDI FT51. The FT51 downstream USB port connects to the FT4222H programming socket.
