EVAL-M1-IM240-A Evaluation Board
Infineon Technologies EVAL-M1-IM240-A Evaluation Board is designed with IM240 3-phase Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs) for high-efficiency appliance motor drives like air-conditioner fans and refrigerator compressors. This board for IPMs is developed to support the designing applications with CIPOS™ micropower modules. The EVAL-M1-IM240-A evaluation board is a part of the iMOTION™ Modular Application Design Kit (iMOTION™ MADK) for drives. The MADK-platform is intended to use various power stages with different control boards that can easily be interfaced through the 20-pin iMOTION™ MADK-M1 interface connector. The board is equipped with all assembly groups for sensorless Field Oriented Control (FOC) that provides a single-phase AC-connector, rectifier, DC-link, and 3-phase output for power. This EVAL-M1-IM240-A evaluation board also contains emitter-shunts for current sensing and a voltage divider for DC-link voltage measurement.
