P78E/V78E DC Switching RegulatorsCUI Inc P78E/V78E DC-DC converters are a family of non-isolated DC switching regulators from 500mA to 1A designed to meet the IEC/EN 62368-1 standard. These compact, encapsulated converters operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. These units feature short-circuit protection, no-load input current as low as 0.2mA, and efficiency of up to 96%. The P78E series offers an industry-standard SIP package, while the V78E series comes in an SMT package. CUI Inc P78E/V78E DC-DC converters are high-performance alternatives to linear regulators and do not require a heat sink, making them ideal for applications where board space and energy efficiency are priorities.
