MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System

Amphenol Socapex MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System is designed for harsh environments, creating a complete ruggedized solution around a Mini DisplayPort standard. The system uses a Tri-Start threaded coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 series III type) to connect the two plug and receptacle parts. This solution allows users to insert a standard mini DP cord set into a metallic plug to protect it from shock, dust, and fluids. Users can assemble the ruggedized plug without tools, and it can be easily assembled directly on the field. The corresponding MDP FTV receptacle also reinforces and protects the system against leakage, shock, vibration, and more. Amphenol Socapex MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System uses a size 13 shell that seals to IP68 when mated. Ideal applications include C4ISR, battlefield communications, ground vehicles, naval, and railways.
