These toroid cores are built using thermo-set plastic coated parts that can withstand a minimum breakdown voltage of 1000V rms. The 59x toroid cores are supplied burnished to break sharp edges. These cores are ideal for use in power input filters, ground-fault interrupters, common-mode filters, and in pulse and broadband transformers.
