Magl³C Variable Step-Down Regulator Modules W rth Elektronik Magl³C Variable Step-Down Regulator Modules (VDRMs) comprise a fully integrated current mode DC/DC power supply. These modules include switching power stages, control circuitry, and passives in one package. The MagI³C modules also have a built-in compensation circuitry and soft-start feature for a smooth and safe power-up. These modules come in a small QFN package that is easy to solder onto a PCB where a low profile is required. The MagI³C modules require as few as five external components and eliminate loop compensation and the magnetics part selection process. These modules offer high efficiency and deliver up to 3A of output current with accurately regulated output voltages.
