TSCR420 & TSCR421 Constant Current Regulators Taiwan Semiconductor TSCR420 and TSCR421 Low-Side Constant Current Regulators (CCR) are designed to reduce current temperatures in linear LED strings. CCRs vary the voltage across a load to maintain a constant electric current. The devices regulate with a preset 10mA nominal that can be adjusted with an external resistor up to 300mA. The regulators can be used in multiple applications if the maximum supply voltage to the device is less than 40V. Taiwan Semiconductor TSCR421 has an enable (EN) pin that can be pulse-width modulated (PWM) up to 10kHz by a microcontroller for LED dimming while in low-side control.
