Silicon Labs Wireless Xpress BGX Modules provide a BLE cable replacement solution with no wireless firmware development required. Using only the BGX13's UART interface, embedded systems can connect and communicate across a BLE link to smartphones and other BGX devices. The BGX13 is designed to function like a cable replacement, with a serial link between BGX and embedded MCU. The device supports secure connections with encrypted communication, bonding, and passkey pairing. The module is BLUETOOTH® 5 compliant, offering a 2M PHY and 1M PHY. Silicon Labs BGX13 is available in both a PCB module and SiP. The V31 version includes features like an I 2 C master interface, input pin monitoring, and event monitoring over BLE reliability improvements.
